Sexual & Reproductive Health Education & Classes

We offer our classes online, and in person at different locations across Evanston, Skokie Park Districts, and Chicago. We are hoping soon to offer them digitally at this platform for everybody to learn and review at their own pace. Classes on Sexual Reproductive Health, Natural Gynecology, All Pregnancy Outcomes Traditional Companions, Meals and Remedies for the fuller spectrum of your reproductive life! Natural Gynecology Class Offerings.

Learn holistic, trauma-informed reproductive health with Montuna. Our classes cover whole-person gynecology, ancestral remedies, body literacy, self-examination, herbal care, prevention strategies, and integrative approaches. Participants gain practical tools to understand their bodies, support fertility, menstrual balance, postpartum recovery, and overall gynecological wellness, all in a culturally grounded, inclusive, and empowering environment.

El Sobo

Learn the sacred Puerto Rican practice of el sobo, a traditional massage rooted in santiguadoras’ wisdom. Classes teach hands-on techniques, herbal remedies, energy work, and spiritual grounding to support reproductive health, menstrual balance, postpartum recovery, and whole-body wellness. Integrate ancestral care with modern practices while honoring community and cultural heritage.

Community Promotorxs de Salud

Train as a community health worker rooted in cultural, ancestral, and trauma-informed practices. Learn health education, body literacy, preventive care, herbal remedies, and advocacy skills to support neighbors and strengthen community wellbeing.

Pelvic Gentle Self Exams

Learn to explore your pelvic health with care, curiosity, and empowerment. These trauma-informed classes guide participants through pelvic self-exams, speculum use, cervical observation, and cycle mapping while incorporating body literacy, ancestral remedies, and safe practices across all life stages. Build confidence, autonomy, and self-knowledge while understanding how self-exams complement clinical care.

Support your transition through perimenopause and menopause with Montuna’s holistic, trauma‑informed approach. Maternal-Child Community Health Workers

Train to support families, parents, and infants with trauma-informed, culturally rooted, and whole-person care. Learn body literacy in pregnancy and postpartum, newborn and child wellness, ancestral remedies, lactation guidance, maternal mental health support, and holistic approaches for perinatal loss and recovery. Gain practical skills in community education, advocacy, and bridging families with healthcare systems while honoring cultural traditions.
