Funding from our educational and care services goes back to our communities. We use our care and education services payments to sustain our training for more Health Workers in Puerto Rico, and develop educational short-term programs in Latinx and Refugee communities in Chicago.

Why give?

  • We are also honorific members of the Quebrada Arenas III Community Center Board in San Lorenzo, P.R., the community that saw us grow. Your donations help us fund education projects that aim to preserve and multiply our innate cultural individual and community ancestral healing practices through agriculture, the comadreo (companionship), and santigüadoras (sanctifying healers).

  • Your support helps to cover materials like microscopes, herbs, tinctures, meals or transportation, and classes for communities that can’t afford it but need it. The more donations we receive, the more new communities we can support.

  • You can help us with any economic amount as well with materials to train more Health Workers or support Birth Justice initiatives in our communities. Ask us for a list of materials, and/or take a look at our initiatives and archives since 2009 and you’d find some ideas of the community projects and needs! Hope we inspire your heart!

  • Donations help us keep money on the side for people that need our services and can’t pay for them. We had even paid for urgent services for folks to go to some of our collaborators, including support for families needing perinatal loss care doulas, transportation cards, massages, among many others

  • We can buy extra pantry items to cook meals for clients in need of better nutrition and care, cultural aligned meals for postpartum healing, or pay meals or some cash to volunteers supporting our community work, as well as materials for them to do their work.

  • We create items that help folks process their journeys; like care boxes, diy heating packs, burial boxes for their losses, memorial earrings and jewelry, etc.
